Neighborhood Talent will accept returns on many of our items we sell as long as the item is in Brand New and Re-Saleable condition. We will also accept return items if the incorrect item is shipped or the item shipped is defective. Before completing your purchase online, please ensure that your order information is complete and correct. Also, review your order confirmation carefully to make sure that it accurately reflects your intended purchase. If there is obvious damage to a shipped package, DO NOT SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE. We do not provide refunds for items damaged during shipping.
Please note: For security reasons, we cannot process requests or accept communications from any person or email address other than the ones that made the initial order.
Order Confirmation
Order Confirmations are sent via email once your order is completed in our system. Be aware that some email applications will initially place this confirmation in your junk mail folder. If this occurs, please add our email address to your safe list. If you do not receive a confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us. Please include your name and order number. (Click Here!)
We recommend that you review this confirmation notice to ensure the order is complete and correct.
Shipping Confirmation
Shipping Confirmations are sent via email once your order ships. You tracking information from UPS will be included in this note. If you do not receive a confirmation within 72 hours of receiving an order confirmation, please contact us. Please include your name and order number. (Click Here!)
Order Cancellations
Our goal is to process all orders within 24-48 hours. If you send an email to cancel an order within the first 24 hours after placing an order, we will attempt to process this request. However, there is no guarantee that we can cancel an order that is currently being processed. We cannot process requests received after the first 24 hours. Backordered, Discontinued or Out of Stock Items
Our goal is to keep our website up-to-date and accurate regarding inventory and product availability. If you order a backordered, discontinued or out of stock item before we can update the status of the item on our website, we will notify you via email. All discontinued items will be cancelled from your order. If you want to cancel an item from your order that is backordered or out of stock, please contact us. Please note: If your cancellation of a backordered or out of stock item is received after sending a shipping confirmation, it must be treated as a return.

Returns
Neighborhood Talent will accept returns on many of our items we sell as long as the item is in Brand New and Re-Saleable condition. Please see the list of non-returnable items. We will also accept return items if the incorrect item is shipped or the item shipped is defective. These items must be returned in accordance to our return process.
Non-Returnable Items
Neighborhood Talent cannot accept returns on the following items.
- Any opened or used product. This includes items without their original packaging or sale tags.
- Clothing that has been worn.
- Personalized or monogrammed items.
- Sale items.
- Items purchased with a coupon or gift certificate.
- Exchange items from a previous return.
Please make a visual inspection of all clothing. Items that have been worn are considered used and cannot be returned. If you have a question about fit, please contact us. Please note: We reserve the right not to accept any return if we believe that the item is not in Brand New or Re-Saleable condition or if the circumstances do not warrant a return.
Return Process
Please follow our return process.
Contact us for a Return Authorization Code within 7 calendar days of the day you received your order. You must contact us within 7 calendar days of receipt for ANY issue regarding your order. Requests beyond this 7 calendar day period will not be processed and the sale is considered final. Please include your name, order number, the name of the item to be returned, reason for the return and condition of the item. (Click Here!)
Once you receive a Return Authorization Code, print out the Return Form and fill in the appropriate information including the Return Authorization Code. Our site supports Adobe Acrobat (Click Here!), Microsoft Word (Click Here!) or Rich Text Format (Click Here!).
Please make a copy of the completed Return Form for your records.
Repack your items in the original packaging material. Please make sure all items to be returned are packed securely. Please include the Return Form in the box.
Ship the returnable item within 7 calendar days of the day you received the Return Authorization Code. The return address will be included on the Return Form. Please do NOT use the return address on the original package. All shipping and handling charges must be prepaid by you. Please use delivery confirmation. We also recommend that you insure the item for your own protection.
Once the item has been received, it will be inspected. If the item is in Brand New or Re-Saleable condition, the return will be processed.
You will be notified if the item does not meet the required condition. If you want this item returned, you will be charged for shipping and handling.
Refunds
Once an item is returned and determined to be in Brand New or Re-Saleable condition, a refund will be processed.
Please note: Unless, the items is defective or incorrectly shipped, we cannot refund shipping charges. We will attempt to credit to your account for the cost of the item as soon as possible. However, there may be some delay as this transaction is processed.
Shipping Errors or Defective Merchandise
If the incorrect item is shipped or the item shipped is defective, please follow the process to return an item. When you request the Return Authorization Code, please indicate if the original item was incorrectly shipped or defective and if you want to replace this item. When you fill in the Return Form, please make sure you indicate if the original item was incorrectly shipped or defective. Once an item is returned and examined, we will review your original Return Authorization Code request and, if requested, ship the new and correct item immediately. There will be no additional shipping charge for this exchange.
Please note: We will attempt to credit the original shipping charge to your account as soon as possible. However, there may be some delay as this transaction is processed.
Undelivered Items
Items returned to us because the package could not be delivered to the address you supplied will be processed as a return.
Restocking Fees for Excessive Returns
Neighborhood Talent prefers never to charge a restocking fee. However, an excessive number of returns from a single customer may result in a significant processing and restocking cost. Excessive returns are defined as more than 5 returns within a 6 month period. Returns due to incorrectly shipped or defective items are not included.
Restocking fees are 15% of the original cost of the returned items. Applicable sales tax, shipping charges and surcharges are NOT included in this calculation. Restocking fees are subtracted from the refund amount.
Damaged Merchandise
Items damaged in shipping are NOT defective. Defective items have a flaw in the design or construction of the item and these problems are handled by the manufacturer's warranty. Items damaged during shipping are covered by insurance. UPS automatically covers items up to $100. Neighborhood Talent purchases additional insurance on your behalf to cover orders over $100.
If there is obvious damage to a shipped package, DO NOT SIGN FOR THE PACKAGE. We do not provide refunds for items damaged during shipping. You should immediately contact the carrier (UPS) so as not to void any insurance claim.
