This inaugural story, Dead in Mt. Isa, was written by Northern Virginia native David Brooks. Mr. Brooks grew up near Mount Vernon, and still has family in Alexandria. He now lives in New Hampshire where he is an editor and writer for the Nashua Telegraph. Mr. Brooks writes the newspaper's science column and blogs at Granite Geek.

With a passion for art, Susan "Suz" Clark took up painting only a few years ago. Suz Clark has been featured in both the Clarendon Grill in Arlington and the Pristine Gallery in Warrenton. She has also been featured in the Potomac News which described the range of her work "from traditional to contemporary."
Suz Clark is now opening her own gallery in Nokesville, VA, to highlight her art work and the work of other local artist. The Grand Opening of The Gallery at Greenwich is scheduled for May 3rd. Read more...
